The Designer: Coretta van Wijk graduated from The Design Academy in the Netherlands in 1997 after studying the lauded ‘man and living’ curriculum, a strong conceptually driven programme focusing on product, furniture and interior design led by Gijs Bakker (droog design). She then moved to London embarking on a stint of interior design with Brinkworth Design.

During her time there she designed and project managed various contemporary retail projects, clients among them including Karen Millen and Whistles. During this period she developed an intense involvement in furniture design, specialising in Glass and UV bonding. 

In the last three years Coretta has been working freelance as a design consultant for various clients including Jasper Conran and Universal Design. She has also developed a new line of contemporary glass and mirror products called ‘Miracles’ in co-operation with Glass Design Ltd. The Miracles range was launched at 100% Design in 2004.
