Who Should Enter?
Any organisation that manufactures or distributes a product for the home improvement market. The category covers products from indoor and outdoor power tools through to glues, gadgets, paints and finishes. Products entered should have been available to the UK consumer market for no more than 12 months prior to date of entry.
 
What the Judges will be looking for

The product that best demonstrates how it helps consumers undertake and complete specific DIY tasks effectively and easily. Judges will look for function, ease of use, effectiveness and quality. Additionally innovation and value for money will be key considerations in this category.

 
Entry Process

Written applications, plus at least one example of the product, supported by evidence of effectiveness. An expert panel will evaluate the products. Short listed products must be made available for testing and finalists will be asked to make a presentation on the product.
