| This will be one of the premier Awards of the programme and is open only to the public. This Award is not open to professional interior designers or other home improvement professionals and can only be entered by the public, although professionals may nominate clients forward for the Awards. |

| As this is the flagship Award, judges will base the judging criteria on the six key principles of the Awards: style; flair; function; innovation; quality; and value. |

Written application supported by photographs. Finalists will receive a site visit. Readers of Ideal Home magazine will also be invited to cast their votes for the finalists. |
